All renovations to this 1950’s ranch house, comprising the addition of a second floor with office and primary suite above the garage and family room to the rear, were designed to work with the building’s simple form. New clapboard siding and a front deck work with the new low-sloped dormers to further accentuate the horizontal nature of the ranch house architype.
Interior renovations included a new enlarged kitchen with raised ceiling tray (duplicated in living room), new flooring and finishes.
